POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
FOR THE PUBLIC
Purchasing a Vehicle
Every
buyer must register for a vehicle purchase buyer’s number with a
valid Driver’s License or
State Identification.
A buyer’s fee will be added
to the price of every vehicle purchased.
A fee schedule is available upon request and is posted in the office and
on the auction block.
You must sign the Bill of
Sale on the auction block immediately following your winning bid. You must leave your driver’s license with
the Bill of Sale-it will be returned to you when payment for the vehicle is
made in the office.
Payments
Payment in full must be made
on sale day-cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.
Cash-Vehicle may be taken on auction day.
MasterCard/Visa-There is a 4% charge added to total of purchase. Vehicle may be taken on auction day.
Ride and Drive
Ride & Drive-Represented
with a Green Light the night of the auction. Vehicle must be inspected within 30 minutes after purchase. This offer is valid on the motor, rear-end
and transmission with 1 defect of $350.00 or more to repair. No
other problems apply. All
arbitrations must clear through the Arbitration Department. Buyer and seller must await the decision of
the Arbitration Department before leaving the premises. The decision of management is FINAL.
This applies to the night of the auction ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
AS-IS VEHICLES
AS-IS (No Guarantee) –
Represented with a Red Light the night of the auction. There is no warranty of any kind. This applies to all vehicles sold for
$350.00 or less, donated and absolute-sale vehicles or when announced by the
auctioneer.
Announced Conditions
Other announcements that
apply to the auction:
Mileage Exempt-A vehicle that is 10 years or older.
Over 100K-When a vehicle’s mileage is over 100,000.
Previous Salvage Title-A vehicle may have been wrecked, flooded, stolen, or
flooded, stolen, or abandoned and was reissued a new title.
Late Title-A title will be issued to the buyer within 30 days.
IF-When a vehicle is bought on an IF – the auction staff
will contact the seller to see if they will accept the bid being offered. The auction has 30 minutes after the IF sale
to make contact with the buyer or seller before voiding the sale.
Titles
Titles – Seller has 15
working days to bring the title to our office.
Buyer is cautioned not to sell or spend money on any vehicle purchased
at this auction until the title is received.
If you pay with cash or credit
card, you may receive the title on auction day if the office has received
the title (time permitting). Otherwise
it will be mailed certified or you may pick it up. A $5.00 processing fee will be added to all mailed titles. When paying
with check, the title will be held until the check clears or when cash is
received in place of the check being held.
Selling a Vehicle
The $25.00 registration fee
due in advance, allows you to register the vehicle for up to three consecutive
weeks. For and extra $10.00 ($35.00
total), the vehicle will run in the first 25 reserved numbers of the auction
the first week it is registered, when a number is reserved ahead of the auction
check in. Sellers may contact the
auction two days prior to auction day to reserve a number in the auction for
your vehicle. The auction must see and
inspect your title prior to the sale of your vehicle. If the title is not available, an explanation of where the title
is must be given. The auction reserves
the right to reject selling the vehicle due to title or VIN problems.
General Policies
Vehicles must be removed from
the lot within one week from auction purchase date or the car is subject to
storage fees. A fee of $15.00 per day
will be charged and must be paid in full before vehicle will be released from
the lot. Mechanical work will not be permitted on our auction lots (including
the adjoining gas station lot in Orrick, MO)

Auctions are not responsible for any accidents to your vehicle or equipment
including physical damage, fire, theft, hail, flood, or storms. You are responsible for insurance or any
items consigner or purchased and left on our property.
All transactions must clear
through the office, including outside sales.
Outside sales are AS-IS.
Guarantees are between the buyer and seller only. Outside sales are not subject to arbitration
for any reason.
No vehicle is to be driven
through the auction by its owner, unless permission is granted through the
office. A vehicle will not be sold if
it is out of line and is driven by someone other than our drivers. No
Exceptions!!!
Vehicles on the lot may be
looked at and started before the auction begins, but must not be moved from its location. No vehicle is to be driven on the lot the day of the sale. No excess revving of the engines allowed.
When a vehicle is purchased
on auction night and is left on our lot, please
leave keys in the vehicle. Our
employees will remove keys from the vehicles after the auction and keys will be
available in the office when you pick up your vehicle.
